DESCRIPTION: |
| SUPERIOR
JOINT SEAL-80 is a two component, 100% solids, equal
volume mix, semi-rigid, heavy duty epoxy joint filler
for industrial floors. |
|
USES: |
|
Joint
filler for industrial concrete floors subjected to hard
wheeled vehicles such as forklifts. SUPERIOR JOINT
SEAL-80 may be used for repairing spills, cracks and
damaged joints. |
|
ADVANTAGES: |
| Easy
-to-use 1:1 by volume mix ratio.
Color coded to insure
thorough mixing.
Retains resiliency; does
not become brittle with age.
Excellent wear
resistance.
Semi-rigid support joint
edges and to carry heavy loads across the joint. |
|
SURFACE
PREPARATION: |
| Area must
be clean and dry. Saw-cuts shall be blown clean and dry
with compressed air to remove all excess moisture and
debris. Remove curing and sealing compounds. |
|
MIXING
AND APPLICATION: |
|
Stir both A
and B components before mixing together. Mix equal
volumes of Part A and Part B. Mix thoroughly with a
heavy duty, low speed drill fitted with a mixing paddle.
Mix until a uniform gray color with no streaks is
evident. Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the
mixing pail.
For neat and easy
application, tape both sides of joints with masking
tape. Apply with bulk caulking gun, disposable plastic
dispenser or pour from the can. Fill joints flush to the
top or slightly higher than the surrounding surface. To
prevent SUPERIOR JOINT SEAL-80 from running through
shrinkage cracks at bottom of joint, apply a maximum of
1/4" of fine sand. A second pass prior to curing may be
necessary due to the fact that all pour grade materials
will "dish" or become concave. Remove all tape and clean
spills and tools immediately upon completion of
installation.
